Chromebooks, Dues, and Schedules:
7th, 8th, and 10th grade students will be able to pick up class schedules and pay dues on August 12th from 9am - 2pm.
11th and 12th Grades - August 13th, 9am-2pm.

Reminder: August 1 - 9 is our MSHSAA Dead period: The dead period is a “no school activities time”; no open gyms, competitions, practices, conditioning, weight training; no activity-related functions or fundraisers, camps or clinics at school facilities or sponsored elsewhere by the school; no coaches/directors or students may have planned contact other than casual, normal community, non-activity contact.

Parents- As you are doing final preparation for the school year, don't forget about sports physicals.
Sports physicals are good for 2 years unless your child's Doctor indicated an annual requirement. If you have questions about when your child's physical expires email Coach Yung at dyung@pilotgrove.k12.mo.us and he will get you that information.
The pre-participation form is required yearly and is linked below. You can email both forms to Coach Yung. Both of these items must be completed prior to day 1 of practice.

Fall Play Auditions (Grades 7–12) are August 10 and August 31. Students seeking a major role should attend August 10. If you are unavailable that day, please contact Mrs. Litton. Students auditioning for minor roles may attend either date. All students must complete the provided audition script and the online audition form. Final preparation for Cooper County Fair Hams will be tonight at 6:00pm at the Cooper County Fairgrounds. Be sure your ham is scrubbed and cleaned for tonight. See you at the fairgrounds!
Familiar face morning to a new position

Pilot Grove C-4 has an opening for our After School Care Teacher! Hours for this position are 3:00-5:30pm M-F. If interested in applying please reach out to Lindsay Leonard at lleonard@pilotgrove.k12.mo.us.

The Cooper County Fair is quickly approaching! Livestock and Ham/Bacon forms were due June 15th; however, they will still be accepted with a late fee. Please email if you need a form: agroepper@pilotgrove.k12.mo.us.
Indoor project and AG mechanics entries (including hams & bacons) must be checked in between noon & 2:00 on Sunday, July 19. Please do not wait until 2:00 to arrive as all projects must be checked in by 2:00. Judging for horticulture, fruits/vegetables, and field crops will begin at 2pm. Students will complete a tag for each project at check in.

FFA District Fair was Monday and Tuesday this week! Senior Weston Widner, Area 6 Parliamentarian attended to help with displays and projects! We had several students attend to show livestock and enter projects. Some students showing for the first time and others experts in the show ring; it was a great 2 days at District Fair!

FFA students: Final trimming and application of liquid smoke for hams to be ready for the Cooper County Fair will take place next Wednesday, July 15th at 6:00pm at the Cooper County Fairgrounds. Prior to the 15th, you need to be sure to scrub and clean your ham.
