The Cooper County Fair was “Building Traditions” this year and Pilot Grove FFA members were taking many opportunities to do the same! Members displayed field crops, horticulture, fruits and vegetables, and agricultural mechanics projects in the exhibit building. Countless livestock entries, representing nearly all species with multiple class winners, breed and supreme reserve, and grand champions were shown by members. Pilot Grove FFA was also well represented in the Queen Contest, FFA member Grace Peterson was crowned the 2024 Cooper County Fair Queen and will represent Cooper County in the Missouri State Fair Queen Contest. Members took opportunities to volunteer during the fair as well, helping with the queen contest, pedal tractor pull, and numerous tasks throughout the livestock barns. Many members took part in selling their projects in the record-breaking premium sale, we would like to extend a huge thank you to the buyers and supporters who made the sale possible, our students could not have been this successful without you! We are very proud of all their achievements and cannot wait to see what great things are accomplished at the Missouri State Fair! Congratulations Pilot Grove FFA Members!
